How do I panic-revert?
Press Ctrl+Shift+F8 to instantly stop the optimizer and restore Windows. You can also stop optimization from the tray or the app.
Can I undo changes?
Most toggles are reversible by turning them off and stopping optimization. Startup tasks can be removed with RUN ON STARTUP: OFF. For BCD/power plan changes, reverse the same toggles or restore a Windows restore point.
Why does Windows Defender flag the installer?
Unsigned competitive tools that touch timers, affinities, and registry often get heuristic detections. Download only from reflexcore.xyz, then allow the file if you trust the source. Updates: x.com/sologemus.
Does it support Windows 10 and Windows 11?
Yes. ReflexCore targets Windows 10/11 x64. Some features (HAGS, certain power schemes) depend on your GPU driver and Windows edition.
Single-file exe is huge — is that normal?
Yes. Self-contained .NET 8 + Windows Desktop + ReadyToRun packs the runtime into one executable. Size does not mean the app is mining or bundling unrelated software.
How do I add a custom game?
On the Dashboard, use Active Target Game Executables and ADD EXECUTABLE. Enter the process name without path issues (for example game.exe). Multiple names can be comma-separated depending on your config field.
What is KDLS?
Kernel DPC Lane Shunting is an optional Pro path that expands USB/input queue capacity for high-rate mice on some PCs. It is not a promise of frame times, FPS, or packet delivery.
What is RIDEV_NOLEGACY / 8K Shield?
It registers raw mouse input with RIDEV_NOLEGACY so Windows legacy cursor path is swallowed while a game is focused. Expect the desktop cursor to disappear under game focus until optimization stops.
My mouse software (Synapse/G HUB) conflicts — what now?
Close or disable competing input filters (including RawAccel-style hooks) before engaging Max Polling. ReflexCore's watchdog warns when conflicting filters are detected.
Does obfuscation mean the app is malware?
No. Release builds run Obfuscar to rename private symbols before publish. That protects IP; it does not hide network miners. Prefer official builds and check the publisher/signature when available.
Can I run ReflexCore minimized?
Yes. While optimization is active, closing the window hides to tray instead of exiting. Use the tray menu to reopen or shut down cleanly.
Does it work with laptops?
Yes, but results vary. Disable battery saver, plug in AC power, and avoid Ultimate Performance on unstable OEM power plans if thermals spike.
Will it break my audio?
Pro audio buffer shunting lowers latency buffers. If you hear crackles, disable that path / stop optimization and raise buffer size in your audio interface panel.
How often should I run optimization?
Leave it engaged for the session you are playing. Stop it when you are done (or use panic revert) so desktop behavior returns to normal — especially if you used 8K Shield.
Is there a refund policy for Pro?
License fulfillment is handled by Polar checkout. Use the Polar customer portal / support flow tied to your purchase email for billing issues.
The site says Desktop Required on my phone — why?
The marketing UI mirrors the desktop app shell. You can tap View Site Anyway, but downloads and configuration are intended for a Windows PC.
Where is the changelog?
Open the Changelogs tab in the left nav, or click Changes in the top update banner for v1.5.1 notes.
Can I use ReflexCore with Process Lasso / ParkControl?
You can, but overlapping affinity tools may fight each other. Prefer one authority for core parking/affinity. ReflexCore's isolator expects to own the game mask while engaged.
Does Pro include future updates?
The current offer is a lifetime node license for the Pro feature matrix. Feature additions ship through app updates; check the site/changelog for version notes.
Why is timer resolution forced to 0.5ms?
Windows default tick granularity is too coarse for high-rate input pacing. ReflexCore clamps multimedia timer resolution so sleep/yield paths stay consistent during play.
Steam / Epic overlays still cause hitching — help?
Disable Game Bar/DVR in Pro toggles, turn off heavy overlays, and avoid recording software while testing input. Overlays can reintroduce the same stalls ReflexCore tries to remove.
